MarShield’s high density concrete blocks are used for radiation shielding in a variety of environments and use less space than traditional concrete construction. The versatile blocks offer reliable, cost-efficient radiation shielding and can be used alongside other shielding materials to maximize protection in the available space. They can be used to shield linear accelerators, vault walls, high dose radiation rooms and more. Aside from our standard sizes we also offer custom castings as blocks can be pumped, poured or conveyed to best suit your requirements. The high density blocks are available in the interlocking-chevron type, solid rectangular blocks, and 3-Core masonry units. The various options allow for customized shielding to fit any location or situation. High density grout is also available as it is required for the non-interlocking blocks and some interlocking-block situations.
